Take Behind the Green Door’s Saturday shindig headlined by DJ Grace Kim: its dress code demands you come in your best “gothic glamour” or “couture villain”. Coupled with some fine tech house and finer cocktails, there wouldn’t be anything in town both as swanky and spooky.

THE MISMATCH RASADENCY presents HOUSE UR HEAD @ RASA (Oct 11)
House is where the groove is. But what is house? To the folks at The Mismatch Rasadency, house music came from clubs where “sound was sanctuary and dancefloors meant freedom.” On this night at RASA, expect the spirit of classic Chicago house, a sound cultivated by the likes of the late Frankie Knuckles, along with the resplendence of Studio 54 and the tongue-in-cheek elitism that may very well be what’s keeping the authenticity of house alive, all these decades.
