By Lucy Lauron,
If summer vacation means catching up on all the books you never got to read, this might be the list for you. For the certified fashion nerds, we've got a curated list of upcoming and newly released books. Think gorgeous photobooks for skimming, to in-depth biographies of fashion legends. Basically, if your summer plans include catching up on all the Fall/Winter 2025 shows, or catching Iris van Herpen's exhibit at the ArtScience Museum before it wraps up, these are the fashion books that should be at the top of your to-be-read list.
Dior. Enchanting Garden
Here's a fun fact: Christian Dior was obsessed with flowers, specifically, roses. It's a big reason why Dior often features flower motifs (check: Rose Des Vents jewellery, the 2020 Miss Dior Roses N' Roses fragrance, and more). Launching September 2, 2025 internationally, Dior will be releasing this gorgeous book for the flora-obsessed fashion lover. It's a lush compilation, consisting of archival photos by fashion greats like Paolo Rovrsi and Patrick Demarchelier, and the makings of iconic Dior designs like the New Look, and the first Miss Dior fragrance.
Curated by experts; Brigitte Richart, the director of the Musee Christian Dior, Philippe Deliau a landscape architect, Amy de La Haye chair in dress history and curatorship and joint director of the Research Centre for Fashion Curation at London College, Barbara Jeauffroy-Mairet a cultural project manager at the Musee Christian Dior, Vincent Leret a heritage manager at Christian Dior Parfums, and Coline Zellal an artist and art historian, this 160-page books is major style inspo and perfect for leafing through during the summer.
