With a name like Splendor, Louis Vuitton’s latest tableware collection is nothing short of a grand affair. Every one of the 17 pieces, which span from the sugar bowl to the serving plate, is boldly decorated with a graphic, gold-accented lattice made up of the maison’s initials and its signature Monogram flower in the centre.

CARTIER

The Diabolo de Cartier collection of bowls, cups, trays and a lidded round box – all crafted from Limoges porcelain – reveals Cartier’s child- like side: All of its house motifs (the panther, the red box, even the bell boy) pop up seemingly randomly against primary-coloured stripes. Shiny gold accents keep the mood classy.

DIOR

Artistic director of Dior Maison, Cordelia de Castellane, dreams up Christmas with the Le Noel de Monsieur Dior collection of Limoges porcelain plates. Available in the festive colours of red, deep blue and green, each comes decorated with the brand’s signature cannage pattern and the monogram used to announce Christian Dior’s birth in 24K gold (yes, you read right). The likes of crystal glassware, candleholders, bespoke tablecloths and hand-painted vases – all featuring the same quilt-like pattern – complete this luxurious dinner service.
