1. Cube Graphics

Kick off your i Light Singapore journey with Cube Graphics – a larger-than-life installation standing right outside The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Using the optical illusion of repetition, French artist Cyril Lancelin created an inflated pyramidal cube with light projections that appear to move on the exterior despite remaining still. Explore and play around this visually arresting installation by entering through openings on its cubic sides for a vibrant sight to behold within the inflatable sculpture.

2. Let’s Fish the Sun!

A short walk away from Cube Graphics is Let’s Fish The Sun! – an interactive installation made by Chinese artist Wentao Wang. It’s made up of an oversized fishing rod connected to a glowing orb that hovers over the water’s surface. More than just a piece of work to admire against the backdrop of Marina Bay’s skyline, Let’s Fish The Sun! is a playful hands-on experience made for us to toy with the natural cycles of sunset. Turn the rod’s handle and witness the “sun” being lifting higher, while the orb dims from a deep crimson to a glowing amber – much like how a sun changes colour as it rises and falls.

3. Barbershop Wonderland

While not located within the main stretch of i Light installations, Barbershop Wonderland is still well worth the walk over. Lined up along a sidewalk are a staggering 200 barbershop poles that make up a rainbow-coloured light installation created by South Korean artist Jeon Byeong San. The poles light up and spin when their sensors detect the presence of movement, and the result is an illusion of fast moving light that seemingly defies gravity.

Location: Clifford Square

4. Infinite Graffiti

i Light Singapore 2026 also provides you with the opportunity to try your hand at street art – legally. At this digital graffiti wall, you’ll get to use sensor-activated spray cans to contribute to an ever-evolving canvas. And despite the lack of physical paint, trust that your artwork will still live on as the Canadian artists behind Infinite Graffiti will transpose it onto a five-metre-long canvas.

Location: Entrance of Marina Bay Link Mall

Between Mountains and Seas is a mesmerising light and sound display of waves and landscapes. This circular audiovisual installation by Taiwanese artist Peppercorns reflects the passage of time and the evolution in natural forces by transforming these unseen movements into a seven minute spectacle.

Location: Event Square

6. Where The Wildflowers Grow

Embrace your inner child at Where The Wildflowers Grow, a whimsical flower forest made for play by local artists Kester Wong and Tan Shao Qi. Created from locally reclaimed industrial materials, metal offcuts and discarded carpet, these sustainably crafted wildflowers sway gently when touched. As they move together, the illusion of a windy floral garden is created before our eyes.

Location: Mist Walk

7. Resonara

Ever wondered how sounds look? Well, Resonora by Indonesian artist Ostudio X Dearista shows us exactly how. For this artwork, vibrations and frequencies from the surrounding urban environment are picked up and projected onto layers of suspended fabric. What we see is an immersive walk-through installation that features colourful, ever-changing lightforms. You can even try your hand at altering the light projection by making noises into the sound receiver.

Location: Behind Breeze Shelters

8. Wave

Reminiscent of raindrops landing on puddles of water, Wave is a large-scale light installation that combines sound, light and motion. To witness the magic, simply pick up one of the five silver sticks and lightly tap it onto the ground. Light ripples are then sent from the pole and disperse outwards, accompanied by different rhythms and sounds.
