Mark it down on your calendar now, for the world’s most popular pop artist is coming to town. Well, one of his mega-art installations at least.

Kaws, an art brand created by American artist Brian Donnelly, has been making waves with its art displays and figurines since its inception on the streets of New York in the early '90s.

Today, the limited-edition artworks and exclusive collaborations with other hip brands have made Kaws one of the most iconic characters around.

Come November, Singaporeans will be able to get up close and personal with the Kaws Companion as part of the Kaws:Holiday travelling showcase which has made stops in major cities like Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Seoul.

This large-sized 42m-long artwork depicting the signature Kaws character with crossed-out eyes hugging a smaller version of itself, will be inflated at The Float @ Marina Bay (20 Raffles Avenue) from November 13 to November 21.

Super cute and super quirky at the same time, the Kaws Companion features the odd-looking Kaws fellow in a motherly embrace with its smaller version.

Aside from gawking at the giant Companion, you can also purchase limited-edition Kaws:Holiday Singapore figurines, as well as other merchandise that will be available on ddtstore.com from 11, am on November 13.
