The cat’s out of the bag – the local arm of fast food chain McDonald’s is launching its first-ever pet product, and feline-lovers are going to go wild for this one. Introducing the Happy Meow Bag, an adorable pet carrier bag that looks just like McD’s paper bags for takeaway orders. A circle bearing the unmistakable “golden arches” logo in the middle folds up to let your furkid’s head peep out – how purr-fect is that?
On top of that, this highly exclusive cat carrier bag comes with patches that you can use to further dress it up with. These include designs featuring a kitty, McDonald’s fries, the restaurant’s uniform and staff nametag, and a bowtie striped in burger-inspired colours – think lettuce (green), cheese (yellow), meat patty (brown), and bun (beige and orange).

When is McDonald’s Happy Meow Bag launching?
McDonald’s cat carrier bag will be dropping in Singapore on March 9, 2026, a Monday, from 5pm onwards. You’d probably want to be there much earlier, as many others would likely be clamouring to get a piece.
Which outlets are McDonald’s cat bag available at?
Not all McDonald’s outlets will have the Happy Meow Bag in stock. You’ll have to head to one of the following in order to get your paws on it:
- Bedok Mall
- Canberra Plaza
- Choa Chu Kang Lot 1
- Cineleisure (Orchard)
- JEM
- Jurong Central Park
- Kallang (Stadium)
- Punggol Northshore Plaza 1
How much is the McDonald’s pet bag in Singapore?
The Happy Meow Bag costs $9.90 with a minimum F&B order of $30. It is not available for purchase on its own.
How to purchase McDonald’s Happy Meow Bag for cats
You’ll first have to show up at any eligible McDonald’s outlet in person, and obtain a queue card from the staff. Once your queue card has been secured, you must stay in the line – leaving would forfeit your queue position. From 5pm onwards, look for the deal titled “$9.90 Happy Meow Bag with min. $30 spend” in your McDonald’s app and make your purchase via the self-ordering kiosk. That’s it!
Is the cat bag available with McDelivery?
The Happy Meow Bag deal is only redeemable and purchasable in person at selected McDonald’s outlets in Singapore. You will not be able to get it via delivery. Time to tear yourself away from your March Netflix binge and get moving!
When will McDonald’s Happy Meow Bag be available until?
Given that only 120 pieces of the pet carrier bag are available per McDonald’s outlet, it’ll probably get sold out within the day – or perhaps within minutes, even.
Is McDonald’s Happy Meow Bag available outside Singapore?
Currently, McDonald’s cat bag is exclusive to McDonald’s members in Singapore. There has been no news of any launches for similar pet merch outside of the country.
