Anthony Vaccarello Is So Serious About Music, He's Got A New Drop To Prove It
So serious, he's launched an exclusive vinyl set with long-time collaborator and French electronic musician/producer SebastiAn.
By Imran Jalal,
French-Serbian artist Sebastian Akchote – or better known as SebastiAn (a in uppercase, TYVM) – is not just a fixture in the French electro music scene, he is also an integral part of the Saint Laurent family.
After all, the man who has worked with anyone from Frank Ocean to Charlotte Gainsbourg is the mastermind behind the epic sonic experience that accompanies every Anthony Vaccarello's fashion shows since 2017. (It was the effortlessly cool Gainsbourg who introduced SebastiAn to the designer).

So it is only fitting that Vaccarello is feting this special bond with a very sound commemorative outing. Ahead we spill more.
Saint Laurent has launched an exclusive transparent boxset containing 12 vinyls titled Frequencies. The set features original productions by SebastiAn which formed the soundtrack of the maison's shows stretching from the Spring/Summer 2017 show to the most recent Fall/Winter 2021 presentation.
The set is only available at Saint Laurent Rive Droite concept stores in Paris and Los Angeles as well as on www.ysl.com. Customers in Singapore can listen to the music on Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music from July 1.
To complete the audiophile experience (and add to the brand's ever-expanding home line), Anthony Vaccarello has designed a limited edition Beosound Edge speaker with Bang & Olufsen. In typical Saint Laurent fashion, the device has been given a sleek marbled effect for some rock 'n' roll flair.
Just like Frequencies, this speaker is only available from Saint Laurent Rive Droite concept stores in Paris and Los Angeles and www.ysl.com.
