Saint Laurent Brings Its Lifestyle Collection To Singapore

You won't need to wait for the post-pandemic normal to own a piece of lifestyle item from Saint Laurent's Rive Droite store.

For the longest time, owning Saint Laurent branded merch like a leopard-printed inflatable heart-shaped pool tube, a star-spangled Lomography camera or Havaianas flip-flops was a treat only reserved for shopaholics visiting Paris.

That's because Rive Droite, the Maison's lifestyle concept store that stocks these curios and collaborations, is located in the city's high-end Right Bank district. Coincidentally, the store occupies the same spot that was formerly Colette, another mecca of destination shopping in the City of Light.

Then Covid-19 hit and the decline in travel has undoubtedly made plenty of launches at Rive Droite throughout 2020 (think a collaboration of sculptures with the designer/artist Helmut Lang and a delightful Halloween line) even more elusive.

But here's the good news: the brand has curated selected items from Rive Droite that are now available in Singapore for the first time as the Saint Laurent Lifestyle collection, exclusively at its flagship at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

Around 10 products are up for grabs and these include the crystal glasses and home accessories designed in collaboration with French brand Baccarat and a speaker by Bang & Olufsen – items primed for the stylish home that needs a dark and sleek rock 'n' roll accent.

With the officials saying that it will take between four and five years before Singaporeans can step into the post-pandemic normal, great lifestyle products that promise to make staying indoors more enjoyable (and fashionable) might just be what we need right now.
