The internet has declared 2026 as the ‘Year of Analog’ — when we all start investing in offline hobbies and reduce our reliance on social media to alleviate boredom, reclaiming physical media and pushing back on the dominance of AI. Basically: when we stop doomscrolling to venture out to touch some grass.

But what does this entail? For starters, many have picked up craft-related hobbies: cross-stitching, journaling, pottery, painting and the like. The point is to try living in a less digital-centric world and embracing tactile experiences that won’t ‘disappear’ with the swipe of a finger.

For the crafts-lovers who are turning analog this year, here’s a type of subscription plan that you should try out: mail clubs. They’re monthly subscriptions where artists and creatives send a curated bundle of physical (sometimes handmade) items and trinkets through postage. Have a journal you’re trying fill up? A wall that’s missing some locally-made art? Or simply love art prints and cute things that have a touch of humanness? A snail mail club is just what you need in your mission of reducing screen time.

“I think people are starting to crave experiences that are slower, more intentional, and rooted in the physical world,” says Xun, one of the featured creatives in this article who started a mail club, “They don’t just want to watch, they want to make, to feel, and to participate...choosing post isn’t about rejecting technology. It’s about restoring balance and creating moments that feel personal and human.”

Below is our curation of Singapore-based snail mail clubs to check out.

SNAIL MAIL CLUBS IN SINGAPORE FOR ARTSY MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS

1. Merry Merry Club

Merry Merry Club

What you’re signing up for: Soft yet colourful illustrations that celebrate the everyday and seemingly mundane. Each month includes a postcard (designed by local creative Tori), a recipe card, a personal letter and an addition inclusion like stickers and bookmarks. Every edition revolves around a unique theme. For example, last year’s November mailers were inspired by European cafe culture, while this year’s March theme is inspired by sea creatures like dolphins. It’s the perfect mailer for those who love the soft and sweet.

Merry Merry Club offers monthly subscriptions and one-time purchase options through their website at $9.99 (including postage).

The artist behind it: 24-year-old fresh graduate from Singapore Management University’s Business school, Tori. She started the Merry Merry Club in her final year of university, in the midst of the stresses of job applications and the impending responsibilities of adulthood. Craving an outlet, she returned to a childhood love: crafts and art. Thus, her mail club started, aiming to dispatch joy to her subscribers and herself through crafts.

On why she opted for postage, rather than turning to digital, Tori says, “I’ve always loved collecting ‘things’ – stickers, postcards, keychains, magnets... and physical objects bring me a lot of joy. In a world where so much of our lives are digital, holding something tangible just gives a different special feeling. It feels like it truly belongs to you, and is something you can connect  with, rather than just being code behind a screen.”

What you’re signing up for: Cute, creative and introspective pieces perfect for craft-lovers and journaling. Each monthly edition includes an art print postcard, die-cut stickers, a sticker sheet, a collectible calendar, journal prompts, a monthly playlist, a personal letter, and a craft activity. February 2026’s activity is paper cross-stitching, and March’s is fruit-themed paper crafts.

A major highlight: Grumpy Mail’s collectable flower calendar. Each month’s calendar is designed to be propped up on a stand and introduces a new flower, as pictured above. As the months go on, your vase gets ‘filled’ with new flowers. By the end of the year, you’ll have a beautiful full bouquet from 2026!

A classic subscription is $12.50, while a Going Analog subscription (including the additional themed waterproof sticker sheet and a craft activity kit) is $15.90.

Who’s behind it: Xun, a 24-year-old fresh graduate who’s taking a gap year to travel before joining the workforce. Her reason for starting her mail club is simple: reconnecting with herself and encouraging others to do so, too. “As more of us become aware of how draining this doomscrolling culture can be, I wanted to create something that invites people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and spend time making something with their hands - something that would bring a little happiness and comfort in their mailbox each month,” she says.

In fact, her mail club inclusions encourage introspection and connection. Other than journaling prompts, Xun also includes a personal letter where she reflects on her struggles as a 24-year-old in Singapore; employment, the search for passion and meaning, and navigating adulthood.

What you’re signing up for: Artsy indulgence for dog pawrents, by a fellow dog pawrent. If you’re an avid dog-lover who also loves elaborate graphic illustrations, this is the mail club for you. And so, she decided to create a community for those who love their dogs just as intensely as she does. Her mail club is a literal love letter to her pup, and hopes for it to be a reminder to other dog owners to treasure their time with their furry companions and celebrate their strong bond.
