Balenciaga And Manolo Blahnik Launch Their First-Ever Shoe Collaboration

It’s a gorgeous series of silk-satin mules and slingback heels adorned with crystals

From Louis Vuitton with BTS’ J-Hope to Cecilie Bahnsen with Asics, fashion brands have been busting out plenty of sneaker collaborations as of late. Balenciaga, however, has instead chosen to go the opposite route, with elegant special occasion heels co-created with none other than Manolo Blahnik – purveyor of luxury women’s footwear.

As to how and why this partnership all came about? Because Balenciaga’s Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, said so.

“This collaboration came to life for very personal reasons. I simply like Manolo. That’s it. I know him personally and have admired him for a long time. To me, Manolo Blahnik is synonymous with elegance and as he’s Spanish, like Cristobal Balenciaga – there’s a certain shared sensibility there,” says Piccioli.

Part of Balenciaga’s Fall 2026 collection titled Body and Being, this series of silk-satin shoes launched on May 19, 2026, borrow from Manolo Blahnik’s archives, with leather insoles in Balenciaga’s signature grey. Draped diagonally across the low vamp of these pointed-toe beauties are leaf-shaped crystals all hand-embroidered on.

Pick from three silhouettes – slingback stilettos (105mm), slingback kitten heels (50mm), and mules (50mm) – available in a range of five hues from vibrant jewel tones to classic black.
