Joo Chiat just got a new museum-esque retail space this July 1, 2026: Singapore fashion label In Good Company’s third retail space, a new concept that’s located in a three-storey heritage shophouse at Joo Chiat.
Located at 316 Joo Chiat Road, this new space is a menagerie of In Good Company’s latest fashion offerings, a curation of lifestyle objects by artists from around Asia and beyond, and a new matcha and wagashi concept by the founders of Paaru.
What to expect at the In Good Company Joo Chiat store
Spanning three levels and 3,000 square feet, this new shophouse is designed for unhurried discovery and retains much of the shophouse’s original architectural features such as its exposed brick walls, timber flooring, exposed beams and its original spiral staircase.
“We wanted the space to feel welcoming and adaptable, almost like a canvas that can evolve as we bring in different collaborators and community voices over time,” says Sven Tan, co-founder and Creative Director of In Good Company, “Every material choice was guided by warmth, longevity and a sense of ease. The same values that inform how we design our collections and who we collaborate with also informed how we approached this space.”
Throughout its first and second storeys, find In Good Company’s latest collections and cult-favourite accessories like its Leather Pouf Bags. In the spirit of discovery, the space also stocks beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands by artists and designers across Asia and beyond.
From Singapore brands like Romi Beauty and self-care brand Anotherland, to Swedish audio brand Transparent Speaker, In Good Company’s Joo Chiat Label stocks plenty of design-forward labels, ready to be discovered.
Meanwhile, its third floor is a loft space designed for gatherings, workshops and future programmes for the brand’s community.
A new matcha and wagashi stand: Miura by Paaru
The cherry on top of this latest retail offering: a new matcha and wagashi concept. By the founders of Japanese-inspired cafe Paaru at Pearl’s Hill Terrace, this latest venture called Miura dishes out Japanese drinks and treats with a Peranakan-inspired twist, in honour of its Joo Chiat locale.
Rooted in the Japanese principle of omotenashi, Miura aims to offer a quiet and thoughtful approach to hospitality that is centred on anticipating the needs of others.
Miura’s coconut warubi mochi ($6).
From matcha and hojicha lattes (from $6.50); to oolong and pear nakama cold brew with cheese cloud foam ($10); and its signature strawberry daifuku ($6), Miura is an extension of Paaru’s culinary expertise, and offers a sweet escape amidst your shopping.
In Good Company Joo Chiat and Miura are located at 316 Joo Chiat Road.
