The liberated attitude of Loewe Paula’s Ibiza – Loewe’s annual capsule that pays homage to the ’70s-era counter culture institution it’s named after – goes into overdrive this year all without losing its romance.
Skatewear gets an idiosyncratically glamorous makeover with all-over sequins. Crafty embellishments give elegant resort dresses an arty twist. A graphic archival scarf print gets resurrected onto relaxed separates – feel free to clash them with rave-inflected tees and accessories such as the pillowy new Flamenco bucket bag in neon-coloured nappa. And see the iconic Puzzle bag like never before: remade in raffia with a geometric pattern for a look that’s both abstract and rustic.
In collaboration with Loewe, FEMALE works with the Singapore illustrator Shian Ng – known for her psychedelic drawings – to bring out the vibes of this hippie-made-modern collection that launches on April 18.
