Louis Vuitton Easter Chocolates Are the Ultimate Luxe Treat This Easter
Imagine biting into a Louis Vuitton handbag, now made possible with Maxime Frederic’s latest creations.
By Sarah Adriana,
With Easter just around the corner, why settle for ordinary chocolate eggs when you can indulge in one with a designer label? This year, renowned French chocolatier Maxime Frederic — the genius behind Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic at Louis Vuitton, the maison’s decadent chocolate bar at Marina Bay Sands — takes Easter treats to haute new heights.
Maxime Frederic’s creation is intricately crafted to share a resemblance to Nicholas Ghesquire’s iconic bag.
The star of the show? The “Chocolate Egg Bag” — an edible, runway-ready tribute to Nicolas Ghesquiere’s iconic egg-inspired creation from the Spring Summer 2019 collection. Fashion has never been sweeter.
Crafted from 70 per cent dark chocolate, the bag’s exterior boasts a striking resemblance to the original leather design. The “zipper pulls” and handles are made from 40 per cent milk chocolate, with the inside, a 40 per cent milk chocolate bar, generously filled with hazelnut gianduja, promising a symphony of flavour. This fusion of leatherworking artistry and chocolate-making resulted in this exquisite masterpiece.
The Traditional Easter Eggs are also available in elegant three-piece or six-piece boxes in three available flavours: two dark chocolate and one milk chocolate.
For those who prefer a more traditional Easter treat, Frederic has reimagined the traditional Easter eggs through three recipes - two dark chocolate and one milk chocolate.
Louis Vuitton’s Easter chocolates are a delicious work of art- stacked, sculpted, and styled to perfection by Maxime Frederic.
The dark chocolate eggs are delicately filled with either a raspberry caramel coupled with pistachio praline, or a duo of creamy caramel with blue vanilla from Reunion island and crunchy buckwheat gianduja. For milk chocolate lovers, fret not you can enjoy an egg with a creamy caramel centre with Tahitian vanilla and hazelnut praline.
Available from March 24 on Louis Vuitton’s Click & Collect service and from March 30 in stores
