Singapore Now Has Its Own Prada Caffe
The Italian fashion house opens its first regional Prada Caffe in the heart of Orchard Road.
By Imran Jalal,
If you've never dined at the Prada-run Pasticceria Marchesi in Milan or the Prada Caffe in London, there's no need for FOMO. The Italian fashion house has officially launched its newly refreshed boutique at #01-01 and #02-15 Ion Orchard, now featuring its latest addition: an in-store Prada Caffe. The Prada cafe is open from 11am to 7pm daily.
The F&B joint occupies the second floor of the duplex store, which spans over 12,900 square feet and features everything from ready-to-wear to homeware and fine jewellery. Inspired by Prada's iconic flagship at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan – home to the brand's first boutique, opened in 1913 – the cafe showcases the signature mint green walls and black-and-white chequered marble floor synonymous with Prada’s aesthetic.

Overlooking Orchard Road through its curved glass facade, adorned with the Prada triangle pattern, the cafe offers an elegant in-dining area with plush green velvet sofas, black marble-top tables, and dining chairs. There's also dining-out service for those on the go.
Reflecting Prada's commitment to sustainability, pastry creations are presented in minimalist, entirely plastic-free, and biodegradable packaging crafted from natural, renewable resources.
The menu is like a chic little tour of Italy, but with a Prada twist. From sunrise to sunset, it takes you on a delicious ride, kicking off with brunch favourites and winding down with show-stopping cocktails. Get your sweet fix with pastel-hued monoportions – think Prada bags, but edible – paired with tartlets, pralines, and panettone. The Crostone is the true star, offering an elevated take on the classic bruschetta, blending history with innovation in every bite
Prada monoportions, each topped with the signature Prada triangle, come in a variety of flavours: green is pistachio, pink is red fruit, and blue is gianduja.
As the day melts into evening, the aperitivo takes the spotlight. Classic Spritz and Negroni cocktails lead the charge, each sip bursting with the vibrant spirit of Venice and Milan. It’s the perfect mix of Italian tradition and modern flair, with a Prada touch that makes every bite and sip feel like a fashion statement.
The new Prada Caffe joins a wave of fashion and luxury houses branching into F&B, proving that style extends beyond the runway. Recent examples include Audemars Piguet's first cafe at its Raffles Hotel AP House, and Saint Laurent's Sushi Park, bringing a taste of LA's omakase scene to their Rive Droite boutique in Paris.
