We’re Wearing Ties To Brunch Now

One look at some of the buzziest Spring Summer 2026 shows tells us neckties aren’t strictly for office attire. One might think the traditional key tenet of formal menswear can’t possibly be interesting, let alone unique. But the new and subversive ways to style ties are quick to prove us wrong. Much like how office siren took over the streets, it was only a matter of time before ties become part of casual wear. From tucked into dressy shirts to bedazzled neckties, here are some ways you can wear ties outside (or inside, if HR permits) of work.

TUCKED IN Á LA YSL

Slightly peaking in between buttons, Miuccia Prada first introduced this innovative style for Prada Spring Summer 2004. Few decades later, Anthony Vaccarello swapped the usual Saint Laurent formal with ties tucked into button-up shirts.

The classic suiting component ironically becomes casual, effortless, and even cool. Tie it with a crisp white button-up for a sharp look or play it down with colours to keep it playful.

BASQUIAT-INSPIRED

Ahead of Jonathan Anderson’s much anticipated debut at Dior, the French luxury house teased an image of Jean-Michel Basquiat wearing a necktie with one side popping out of the collar. This quickly became a trend even before the actual show began, with front-row guests like A$AP Rocky, Robert Pattinson, and Josh O’Connor being photographed sporting the same necktie style over button-up shirts that gives off an intentionally undone vibes.

ALL AT ONCE

Double or triple, we’ve lost count. Wear multiple all at once, when it comes to styling ties for the everyday, the more, the better. The most ties we’ve seen worn at once was at Junya Watanabe, how about topping that tie-count?
