From Peppa Pig pink to Monica Vitti-inspired chic, and let’s not forget Portia’s legendary bucket hats, one woman is the real star behind The White Lotus's killer fashion: costume designer Alex Bovaird. With an impressive portfolio including American Honey, Bird, and Bad Education, Bovaird’s talent is undeniable.
She’s lent her vision to all seasons of The White Lotus – including the much-anticipated Season 3, which drops today and stars Blackpink's Lalisa Manoban, set against the tropical backdrop of Thailand. And to make the debut even sweeter, she’s teamed up with H&M to design a capsule collection that captures the sun-drenched glamour of a luxury resort vacation, launching worldwide on Feb 20.

The 25-piece resort-inspired collection is Bovaird’s take on the ultimate vacation wardrobe. It's a bohemian dream with 1960s-inspired babydoll dresses, crochet magic, and sweet lace numbers, all transitioning into romantic long dresses and cover-ups. Expect soft, translucent fabrics with ruffles, crochet, and floral open-work, alongside whimsical motifs like lotus flower prints and playful elephants.
Bovaird's H&M collection features breezy, soft fabrics like Tencel, viscose, and recycled polyester crochet and lace for easy, stylish packing.
“We always have this little catchphrase on the show: ‘Nothing’s too much for The White Lotus!’ So, I’m naturally drawn to bold patterns and sumptuous, billowing pieces,” says Bovaird. “I love that this collection can be worn all day — you could throw it on for breakfast or the pool, or add jewelry and wear it straight to dinner. It’s all about effortless luxury.”
