Mingyu in Calvin Klein – the perfect recipe for an internet meltdown among fans.
Calvin Klein’s ever-expanding lineup of Korean campaign stars has just gained a new member. The latest to join the fold – which already includes Jung Kook of BTS and Jennie Kim of Blackpink – is rapper Kim Mingyu of the boyband Seventeen, who makes his debut for the American fashion brand today. Captured by photographer Park Jong Ha against a warm backdrop of soft blue and orange, the 27-year-old shows off his lean figure in denim pieces from the Fall 2024 collection, perfectly channelling those autumn vibes.

The campaign highlights Calvin Klein's vintage-tinged jeans designs– 90s Straight Jeans, Standard Straight Jeans, and 90s Loose Jeans – which feature deeper washes for the Fall season. The styling emphasises layering and plays with the concept of the Canadian Tuxedo, pairing matching denim tops and bottoms. For example, the Standard Straight Jeans are teamed with a relaxed denim jacket and fleece hoodie.
The Modern Cotton Air Trunks modelled by Mingyu in his Calvin Klein campaign
And since it’s Calvin Klein, a hint of sex appeal is inevitable, with Mingyu teasing the waistband of his Modern Cotton Air Trunks. If these images are anything to go by, an underwear campaign should definitely be on the horizon.
