In The Company of Jisoo and Style Stars at Cartier's Trinity 100th Anniversary Party
Cartier ambassador Jisoo made a surprise entrance at the glamorous bash celebrating the centennial anniversary of the Trinity collection.
By Imran Jalal,
The night was a perfect 100 at Cartier's bash at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre on 10 July. The occasion marked the centennial anniversary of the French maison's Trinity collection, famed for its sleek design of three interlocking rings in three colours of gold.
While the collection's enduring legacy was reason enough to celebrate, the surprise appearance of pop idols and Cartier ambassadors Jisoo of Blackpink and Jackson Wang truly set the event alight.
Cartier is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its Trinity collection with a series of parties and pop-up exhibitions in various cities around the world. The celebrations will culminate in an event in New York. The party in Singapore took place at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre on July 10.
The crowd of over 600 was also treated to dramatic renditions of Nina Simone's Feeling Good and Teddy Swims’ Lose Control by newly-minted Cartier Thailand ambassador Jeff Satur. Performances and a DJ set by Singaporean artiste Jasmine Sokko (who knew she had hidden skills on the deck?) and pianist-composer Churen Li added to the line-up.
Singaporean beatboxer Dharni Ng (left) and pianist Churen Li performed for the audience at Cartier's Trinity Anniversary bash. Li is one of 30 artists who have created works for the Imagine Infinite Circles project, part of the Trinity 100 Pop-Up exhibition at The Arts House from 15 to 23 July.
Li is among the artists commissioned by curator Jerome Sans to reimagine the Trinity theme through a project titled Imagine Infinite Circles, a highlight of the Trinity 100 Pop-Up exhibition running until 23 July at The Arts House. (Click here to sign up for your tour.)
