Restaurant Monsieur Dior In Paris Just Received Its First Michelin Star
Located at the historic 30 Montaigne flagship in Paris, the restaurant was just awarded its first Michelin Star after only seven months under Chef Yannick Alleno.
Everyone has been marvelling over Dior’s new Bamboo Pavilion in Tokyo – with its shimmering gold structure and exquisite fusion cafe, it’s easy to see why the new elegant bamboo-inspired boutique has been drawing so much attention lately.
Despite all the buzz surrounding it, Monsieur Dior restaurant at 30 Montaigne in Paris – the original flagship that inspired the facade of Tokyo’s Dior Bamboo Pavillion – has just made waves in the culinary world by receiving its first Michelin star at the Michelin Guide France and Monaco 2026 ceremony, after only seven months of opening.

The Monsieur Dior restaurant opened in 2022 as a celebration of Christian Dior’s love for culinary arts and his desire for hosting guests in a space that embodies art de vivre (art of living). It’s a culinary atelier that blends the house’s heritage with a modern dining experience to honour the couturier’s legacy – housed under one roof alongside the historic headquarters that saw the founding of Maison Dior in 1946 and Dior’s historic ateliers today.
Initially led by Jean Imbert, it was not till September 2025 that visionary chef Yannick Alleno took over the three venues of Monsieur Dior restaurant, La Patisserie (renamed Le Jardin) and the Cafe, and seriously changed the game.

With his culinary artistries, he crafted a menu for the Monsieur Dior restaurant designed to mirror the couture universe of Dior – where shapes, textures and compositions blend with couture aesthetics to create edible works of art that paid tribute to Christian Dior’s love for beauty and taste.
