Partying requires sustenance, and hunger pangs are inevitable after a night on the dance floor. Once the music stops and the lights come on, the real challenge of the after-party is deciding where to go to satisfy those cravings. Whether you prefer a comforting prata joint or a chic wine bar, here are the go-to spots that creatives from the nightlife, design, art, film, music, and fashion industries love to fuel up at after a night out.

NATASHA HASSAN, 29, DESIGNER, PROMOTER AND DJ

Natasha Hassan

Who: This freelance graphic designer, promoter, and DJ brings her vibrant imagination to life, conjuring up whimsical characters and spinning her favourite tracks at the hottest underground shindigs, including this month’s Keep Hush party at Iki. And if you’ve caught a glimpse of the latest branding posters for the Sunda Festival 2025, with their delightful artwork, you can bet she played a key role in crafting that visual magic too.

Her go-to supper spot: BK Eating House, 21 South Bridge Road

Why: "It’s in a prime location near venues like Headquarters and Iki, making it the perfect place to refuel after hours of grooving on the dancefloor. But it’s more than just a convenient spot – it’s practically a cultural staple. If you’re part of the band, nightlife, or skating scene, BK holds a special place in our memories – good, bad, and usually hilarious.

When I need a break from dancing, I hit up BK midway and order their soft-boiled eggs and heart-shaped kaya toast. And of course, their ultra-sweet homemade iced lemon tea. It’s that perfect sugar hit to keep you going."

AMANDA TAN, 39, ARTIST, FILMMAKER, VJ AND WRITER

AMANDA TAN

Justin Tai

Together, they dive deep into the concepts of time, shifting perspectives, and the delicate balance of stillness and neutrality in a world that often feels anything but certain.

Her go-to supper spot: No Sleep Club, 20 Keong Saik Road

Why: "Beyond the beautiful, softly dimmed atmosphere, it’s the gorgeous cocktails and food that keep me returning to this bar. The overall vibe – both the staff and the setting – is cosy without being overbearing. I can indulge my cravings without feeling judged for being a bit piggy! Chef Connor crafts the most amazing handmade pasta, showcasing the contrasting textures and flavours I adore. And when it comes to cocktails, their Bloody Mary is an absolute favourite, enhanced with a unique miso spice mix."

His go-to supper spot: Al Falah Restaurant, 681 Hougang Avenue 8, #01-855

Why: "It’s my go-to humble prata spot, and it truly embodies that local charm. While waiting for your turn to order can take a bit of time, the prata is so crispy (honestly the best I've ever had) that I’m more than willing to wait. My favourite combo? Their curry paired with sambal chilli. And I can’t resist ordering a side of its mutton curry – it’s a must-have."

Her go-to supper spot: Offtrack, 34 North Canal Road

Why: "This cocktail bar boasts great music, an inviting interior perfect for intimate conversations and a little boogie, and, of course, fantastic bites – all thoughtfully crafted by the talented folks at Darker Than Wax and Ice Cream Sundays DJ collectives. When it comes to drinks, you can't miss the Lychee Cobbler; I’ve been known to sip on one too many. As for my all-time favourite dishes, they’ve got to be the crispy fried cauliflower, housemade sourdough roti, and those irresistible San Francisco-style garlic noodles."

His go-to supper spot: Big Wine Freaks, 44 Bukit Pasoh Road

Why: "This is my current go-to supper spot in the city. The vibe perfectly blends industrial aesthetics with a laid-back exclusivity, creating a hidden gem that only the in-the-know crowd seems to flock to. There’s an artful chaos throughout the space, from the meticulously arranged bottles of wine to the unique art pieces and installations that pop against the darker tones of the interior.

While the wine selection here is unmatched, the food is equally stellar. I’m absolutely obsessed with the Carabineros Crudo, Trout Sashimi, King Island Beef Tartare, and Uni Brioche Toasts – each dish is pure perfection. I love how this space is designed to surprise and delight, making every meal a feast for the eyes as well as the palate."

Her go-to supper spot: Srisun Express Serangoon Garden, 56 Serangoon Garden Way

Why: "The people there are incredibly friendly and treat us so well. My best friends live nearby, so whenever we have sleepovers, we love to walk over, and they always remember our orders. Sometimes, if there are a lot of us, we’ll indulge in a Milo tower. My go-to order is garlic or butter naan, and we usually share butter chicken and palak paneer."

Her go-to supper spot: NKS Restaurant, 179 MacPherson Road

Why: "It's just a short walk from my place and open 24 hours, which makes it my go-to spot. I absolutely love the staff; they’re all from India and incredibly earnest, working hard with only two days off each month. One of them even has a YouTube channel where he shows off his skills flipping and flying roti in the air! I often stop by to chat with them since they miss their families so much; it can get sad and lonely for them. My favourite drink is the halia susu ais gurang manis – it's super gingery with that delightful spicy kick mixed with milk. And I can’t resist the grilled chicken carbonara; it’s so creamy, and the portion of chicken is incredibly generous."

Her go-to supper spots: Jungle, 10 Ann Siang Hill and Al Solito, #03-49 Orchard Plaza

Why: “At Jungle, the passion behind the food truly shines through. The self-taught chef traded a cushy corporate job for a career in cooking, specialising in Northern Thai cuisine. The grilled pork jowl is incredibly tender and juicy, best enjoyed with their signature sauces. Pair it with a wine that has a sweeter profile to cut through the spices and refresh your palate.

On the other hand, Al Solito is a charming little hole-in-the-wall at Orchard Plaza, popular with sharply dressed Japanese businessmen. Just the thought of their cold uni pasta has me itching to make a reservation right now. As for drinks, I can’t resist the refreshing umeshu soda.”

AUSTIN FLORIDA, 26, DJ AND PRODUCER

Austin Florida

Courtesy of Austin Florida

His go-to supper spot: Thohirah Restaurant, 258 Jalan Kayu

Why: “It’s the go-to spot for my friends who live nearby. It’s also where my crew, 'Four Teh,' and I grabbed supper after filming our viral Toilet DJ set. Over food, we had a quick meeting to brainstorm our crew name, and guess where the inspiration came from? My trusty mamak order – especially when I need something light after a rave – is Maggi mee goreng with chicken and a cup of teh ice.”
