Cartier Goes Wild With The Newest Trinity Collection
Three animals from Cartier's lore make an appearance in the 2025 additions to this legendary collection.

Cartier's Trinity collection, a symbol of intertwined elegance since 1924, began as a simple trio of linked rings and has since mastered the art of reinvention. We've seen its minimalist, artistic side, thanks to Chitose Abe of Sacai’s 2022 collaboration with Cartier. Then came the playful variations: modular designs inspired by Japanese puzzles and architectural, cushion-shaped creations showcased during last year’s centennial celebrations.
So, after exploring minimalism, playfulness, and architecture, what’s left for this iconic symbol of three interlinked rings? The answer is clear: maximalism.
The cushion-shaped Trinity pieces represent the latest evolution of the collection, first introduced during its 100th anniversary celebration last year.
Fresh from its centennial celebrations (a Singapore affair graced by Jisoo, no less), Cartier unleashes Trinity's wild side. Drawing on its storied menagerie, the collection now features the panther, tiger, and snake. Each creature's essence is meticulously captured: reptilian scales shimmer on white gold, while black lacquer recreates the panther's spots and the tiger's stripes on yellow and rose gold. This stylistic boldness extends to the rings' very forms: rippled for the snake, pyramidal for the tiger, and rounded for the panther.
And in a bold reimagining of how to wear the Trinity, you can now slip on a two-finger ring or a single earring.
Panther, tiger, and snake motifs are seamlessly woven into the 2025 Trinity collection. One of our favourite designs in the mix is the stylish two-finger ring (above).
Beyond the animal kingdom, Cartier continues its exploration of geometric form with the cushion-shaped Trinity, a design first glimpsed during last year’s anniversary. These rings maintain the fluid movement of the original round design, but with a sharp, geometric edge that redefines the iconic look.
The extra-large Trinity necklace (above) features links that are meticulously assembled by hand, link by link.
To further amplify the Trinity’s impact, Cartier has introduced two new necklaces and a bracelet, each linking cushion-shaped rings together in luminous, precious links. Ranging from delicate to audacious XL pieces, the XL necklace – meticulously assembled by hand, link by link – makes an ultra-graphic statement around the neck. Meanwhile, the cushion shape takes on added brilliance with semi-paved rings and a diamond-paved pendant.
More is always more.
