Cartier Pens A Love Letter To Singapore With Its New Takashimaya Store
The remodelled store is now larger and pays tribute to the Garden City in a chic, luxe way.
Cartier has just given its Takashimaya S.C. boutique the ultimate Singapore glow-up. After months of renovation, the maison has unveiled a chic new duplex that blends its iconic elegance with a fresh garden-city vibe. Designed by Paris-based architects Bidard & Raissi, the expanded 3,350 sq ft space (with an extra 667 sq ft for good measure) offers plenty of room to showcase Cartier’s masterpieces, from expertly crafted bags that highlight the brand's leatherwork expertise to beloved jewellery lines like Trinity, Juste un Clou, and Love.

Forget stuffy vibes – the space hits you with the city’s energy right away. Front and centre? Cartier’s iconic panther, casually striding across a backdrop of Gardens by the Bay.
Then, there’s a soft, romantic nod to the national flower: the orchid. A dreamy illustration on a feature wall channels the flower’s delicate yet resilient nature, while the boutique’s palette mirrors its graceful hues.
A peek at the VIP room
Things take a spikier turn across the room, where Cartier draws inspo from the king of fruit—the durian. Its tough exterior is reimagined as a bold, bronze geometric pattern, adding a hit of edge to the refined space.
As you wander deeper, the boutique blooms into a tropical sanctuary, with warm golden hues, organic textures, and intricate botanical motifs. Think soft curves, natural wood finishes, and glowing gold accents – all designed to bring a slice of Singapore’s wild beauty indoors.

The space also introduces two exclusive hideaways: a dreamy Bridal area and a Client Care lounge, both housed in chic shop-in-shop concepts. The Bridal suite is all soft pastels and a hornbill-adorned feature wall (because these birds symbolise lasting love – romantic, much?). Meanwhile, the Client Care lounge – the first of its kind here – dials up the cosy vibes with earthy tones and botanical details, offering a stylish space to pamper your Cartier treasures.
