With its slew of local fashion stores, and cool dining spots and lifestyle shops, New Bahru has quickly become one of the must-visit lifestyle enclaves in Singapore, despite opening its doors less than two years ago.
And as if we needed any more reasons to drop by – New Bahru just unveiled a fresh slate of dining options and lifestyle brands at its Factory Block. From independent fashion labels to crowd favourite restaurants, here are the 15 new shops to check out at the buzzy lifestyle destination.

1. Beams
Cult-favourite Japanese fashion brand Beams finally has its own Singapore outpost – and it’s right here in New Bahru’s Factory Block. At this boutique, expect a curated selection from Beams signature brand, Demi-Luxe Beams and even an exclusive Singapore merchandise collection.

2. Stacked Store
Known for its quirky lifestyle products, Stacked Store has since expanded from its former appointment-only showroom to include its IMBA Theatre gift shop and now, a new New Bahru store. The latter features an inviting living room set up that’s decorated with its design-led objects and stylish home decor.

3. Dumpling Darlings
Homegrown artisanal dumpling restaurant Dumpling Darlings welcomes its largest store in New Bahru’s Factory Block. At this flagship location, you’ll be treated to an expanded izakaya-inspired menu, a spread of cocktail options and a playful new retail merchandise range.

4. Fico (pop-up)
By now, you’ve probably heard of the charming Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded restaurant that is Fico. Located along the beachfront of East Coast Park, this chic coastal restaurant is known for its Italian foccacina and made-from-scratch pastas. Now, they’re bringing the latter to New Bahru with a three-month pasta pop-up running from now till July 28, 2026.

5. Parlour
Singapore has seen its fair share of gelato cafes over the years – from the fan-favourite botanic gelato boutique Birds of Paradise to the buzzy Australian gelateria Gelato Messina. Now, here’s the latest one to add to your list. Parlour is a well, a gelato parlour that serves up classic artisanal gelato flavours. Here, expect a range of gelato flavours like bronte pistachio, matcha raspberry, stracciatella and more.

6. Kulon
Craving a comforting bowl of bakmi? Kulon is the go-to spot for hearty bowls of Indonesian noodles. Expanding from its first outlet at Bali Lane, Kulon has now opened its second at the lifestyle enclave – with a kiosk concept and tapas-style sharing spread at its newest outlet. Also, it’s led by a Forbes 30 Under 30 restaurateur, so you can trust that the food’s definitely good.

7. Laifaba
Also launching its second outlet and first kiosk concept at New Bahru is Laifaba – a family-run traditional restaurant famed for their wood-fired roasted meat and wanton noodles. With their roast house kiosk in New Bahru, you can expect a selection of rice and noodle bowls as well as wood-fired roast platters.

8. Atlas Kind (pop-up)
If you didn’t already know, New Bahru has a rotating pop-up store dedicated to spotlighting creative and independent brands. Store Store is located in New Bahru’s School Block and currently features lifestyle and fashion labels. From now till July, pop by to check out Atlas Kind, a Singapore-based slow-fashion brand that boasts a range of minimalist clothing and timeless vintage-inspired pieces.

9. Source (pop-up)
Also within Store Store is Source, another Singapore-based fashion label with a range of high-quality everyday basics. At their New Bahru pop-up, you can try on their full collection, as well as check out some exclusive in-store pieces.

10. Kios Minang
Heritage food business Kios Minang is bringing its beloved Nasi Padang to New Bahru. With roots dating back to 1954, it serves up nasi padang sets and even an exclusive nasi padang wrap concept that’s only available at New Bahru. Prepare to be spoiled for choice with their range of dishes like beef rendang, ayam bakar, sayur lodeh and other authentic Indonesian dishes.

11. Orh Gao Peh Gao
Orh Gao Peh Gao is a modern coffee shop in New Bahru that features your favourite local comfort food. Think kopi, kaya butter toasts, open-faced sandwiches and more for breakfast and dishes like nasi lemak and braised pork rice bowls for lunch. It also transforms into a taproom by night, serving craft beers and asian-inspired plates.

12. Veja (pop-up)
Known for its sustainable sneakers made from organic and recycled materials, French footwear label Veja is setting up shop in Singapore for the first time. At this limited-time New Bahru pop-up, you can explore their range of eco-friendly sneakers that feature minimalist silhouettes and their signature “V” logo.

13. Yeti (pop-up)
If you’re a fan of gorpcore products like the ones at Topologie, here’s another outdoor-inspired brand for you to check out. Known for its rugged yet functional outdoor gear, Yeti is the go-to outdoor goods brand when it comes to durable drinkware and outdoor products. They’re now bringing their line of coolers, bags, tumblers and more to their pop-up at New Bahru.

14. Future Resonance
Need to unwind after all that shopping and dining? Future Resonance has you covered. At this multi-sensory wellness studio, you can expect a range of rejuvenating and frequency-based experiences like soundbaths, yoga and even a unique Light Sound Vibration treatment.

15. Sushiro
Fan-favourite sushi conveyor belt chain Sushiro rounds out the list of new dining options available at New Bahru’s Factory Block. Expect the usual wide variety of fresh sashimi and nigiri options alongside their spread of Japanese desserts.
