By Paige Boon Xuanyi,
One thing we love about Christmas is the seasonal sweet treats. True to its Italian heritage, Prada Caffe has brought in a slew of festive Italian desserts for their Holiday 2026 collection of bakes and sweets. From Panettone variations to assorted chocolate delights, these desserts are perfect as gifts to your loved ones, or for indulging in on your own.
P.S.: Check out Prada’s Holiday 2026 campaign which brings back storybook-like whimsy with hand-drawn animations by an ex-Disney illustrator.
If you’re familiar with Prada Caffe, you’d have come across its panettone – an Italian fruitcake that’s often prepared only during Christmas, but available as a year-round signature here. Through each season, this confection takes on different variations (the previous summer menu had an apricot version). This winter, special seasonal flavours of chocolate, candied chestnut, and pistachio make an appearance, bringing extra holiday spirit to the menu.
There’s also an assortment of tinned chocolate specialties like Mandorlato and Torroncini, both of which are types of traditional Italian nougats served during Christmastime.
Prada Caffe’s Gianduiotto, an Italian chocolate made out of hazelnuts and cocoa.
For larger treats to share around the table, there is the Pandoro, an eight-pronged star-shaped sweet bread, dusted with icing sugar to resemble the Alps’ snowy peaks. For something richer, there’s the Chocolate Mediant, a chocolate slab lined with gold-dusted icing in festive colours. Desserts like the Gianduiotto and Chocolate Sphere are carefully hand-embellished with dainty flowers and decorative shapes including the iconic Prada triangle – making them look like art pieces too beautiful to eat.
Prada Caffe is open from 12pm to 9pm daily and located within the Prada Boutique at Ion Orchard.
