Tumbler Art: Everyone's Thirsty For Designer Water Bottles

If drinking H20 is a basic human need, brands are turning that daily ritual into a fashionable choice with sleek tumbler designs as they make a big move into the lifestyle market.

Last July, Italian luxury house released Brunello Cucinelli released a minimalist handcrafted and mouth-blown glass bottle with a price tag of US$995 (S$1,324) that could rival that of a handbag.

Other brands have seen the potential in this lifestyle category too by releasing accoutrements to dress up water bottles. At Fendi, Burberry and Chloe, for instance, bottle holders are made to look as chic as the brands' crossbody bags in leather cases and finishes.
